What an incredible achievement for our talented young writers! In celebration of Africa Day, the municipality hosted a fantastic essay competition, and our students rose to the occasion in spectacular fashion.
We want to give a huge round of applause to Ongeziwe, Lisakhanya, Alicia, and Olivia, who all poured their creativity and intellect into their powerful submissions. Out of a total of 43 impressive entries from young people across the area, our school made a major impact, showcasing the depth of talent within our walls.
We are bursting with pride to announce that an amazing three of our four entrants—Lisakhanya, Alicia, and Olivia—were selected for the Top 15! This is a massive accomplishment and speaks volumes about their skill and dedication.
And the good news gets even better! A huge congratulations goes to Olivia, who was crowned the overall champion of the entire competition! To have the winning essay come from our school is a phenomenal honor.
